Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko has acknowledged that public transport fares will rise in the capital in the spring. He wrote about it in the Facebook .
He also denied earlier reports that fares would not increase until 2024.
The mayor stressed that the tariff increase will not take place in 2024, but in the spring of 2022.
“Please check the information, especially when they link to my telegram channel or social networks. And there, let me remind you, it is written that the issue of revising the fares in public transport will not be considered until the end of this heating season, “- said Vitali Klitschko.
We will remind, earlier the first deputy chairman of KSCA Nikolay Povoroznyk declared that the price for travel by public transport of Kiev will rise to 20 UAH since January, 2022.
