kyiv.Ukraine.Ukraine Gate – November 22,2021- A large group of migrants tried to break into Poland from Belarus on Sunday, November 21, and were immediately surrounded and detained by Polish security forces.
“Yesterday, November 21, on a section of the border guarded by a border outpost in Dubychy Tserkovny, about 150 aggressive foreigners tried to invade Poland,” the statement said.
It is added that the Belarusian services observed the attempted intrusion into Poland.
As can be seen from the video attached to the message, a large group of migrants has already crossed the line of Polish barriers, where it was immediately surrounded by Polish security forces.
According to the Polish Border Guard Service, 346 attempts to cross the border illegally have been registered over the past 24 hours, and 58 people have been ordered to leave Poland. Three people were detained for crossing the border with the help of illegal migrants: two Syrian citizens and one from Georgia.
In turn, the police of Podlaskie Voivodeship informed that four people had been detained the day before for helping to cross the border illegally. In particular, three citizens of Ukraine and a citizen of Tajikistan were detained. Couriers tried to transport 39 people who had crossed the border illegally further west.
As you know, the crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border has been going on since August. Since then, more than 35,000 attempts to cross the border illegally have been recorded in Poland. Poland and the Baltic states accuse Belarus and Russia of hybrid aggression using an artificial migration flow.
A state of emergency has been in effect on the Polish-Belarusian border since the beginning of September. Warsaw plans to build more than 5 meters high on the border with Belarus by mid-2022.
