In Ukraine, from December 1, the subsistence level and related insurance payments increased. How much, according to the Social Insurance Fund .

From December 1, the subsistence level for able-bodied people has been systematically increased from 2,379 hryvnias to 2,481 hryvnias.
Accordingly, the amount of related one-time benefits financed by the Social Insurance Fund of Ukraine for victims of accidents at work or occupational diseases, as well as persons entitled to benefits in the event of loss of a breadwinner has increased.
Thus, for persons whose right to insurance payments from the Fund came from December 1 this year, the amount of assistance will be:
to the victim as a result of an accident at work in accordance with the degree of loss of professional capacity for work (maximum 17 subsistence minimum established by law for able-bodied persons, with 100% loss of ability to work) – UAH 42,177;
family in case of death of the victim (100 subsistence level) – UAH 248,100;
dependent in case of death of the victim (20 subsistence minimum) – UAH 49,620.
Previously, these payments amounted to UAH 40,443, UAH 237,900 and UAH 47,580, respectively.
Also from December 1, there was an increase in pensions. Reasons – two: the size of the subsistence minimum for persons who lost their ability to work will increase from 1854 UAH to 1934 UAH; the minimum wage will increase from UAH 6,000 to UAH 6,500.
Accordingly, the minimum old-age pension for persons over 65 who have full experience (women aged 30 and 35) and do not work will increase by UAH 200,400 to UAH 2,600. It will also increase by UAH 80 for other pensioners who have a shorter insurance period and receive a minimum pension and do not work. In addition, the supplement to the pension for overtime is increased; allowances, increases to pensions (including war veterans, persons with special merits). And the maximum pension will increase.
The Ministry of Social Policy says that in December 2021 the average pension will be UAH 3,980, which is UAH 546 (or 16%) more than in the same period last year (UAH 3,434). It is expected that in 2022 the average annual pension will be UAH 4,533 (compared to 2020, the increase will be UAH 940 or 26%).
