kyiv.Ukraine.Ukraine Gate – December 5,2021- The Kiev State Emergency Service posted on its Facebook page that on the evening of December 4, a fire broke out in a multi-storey apartment building on Kiev Street. Ushakov in the Sviatoshynskyi district.
“On December 4, at 7:34 p.m., the operational coordination center of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv received a report of a fire at 14a Mykola Ushakova Street in the Sviatoshynskyi district of the capital.
Rescuers from the nearest fire and rescue units were immediately sent to the scene. As it turned out, the fire broke out in one of the apartments on the 12th floor of a 16-storey residential building. Without wasting time, the fighters immediately began to evacuate residents from the upper floors and put out the fire, “the statement said.
According to the State Emergency Service, 30 people were taken to a safe distance during the fire in the apartment.
At 20:21 a fire broke out in an area of 30 square meters. m was localized, and at 20:39 – eliminated.
8 units of basic and special equipment and 33 personnel of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv were involved at the scene.
There are no victims ,The cause of the fire is currently being determined.
On November 22 in Kyiv rescuers put out a fire in a sixteen-storey residential building at 67A Peremohy Avenue in Sviatoshynskyi district. According to the SES, electrical switchboards from the 5th to the 15th floor caught fire in the high-rise building. Rescuers evacuated the occupants of the house. Five people were released from the elevator car.
