More than a hundred houses burned down in a forest fire in the town of Castro in the tourist archipelago of Chile in southern Chile.

According to the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Alejandro Verges, the fire was extinguished overnight, although small areas are still smoldering.
“We are removing the wreckage and extinguishing the remaining small fire sources. Fortunately, the outbreak has been contained immediately,” Verges said.
The causes of the tragedy are not reported yet.
