Ukrainians should not go on a 14-day self-isolation after returning from the countries of the “green” zone.
The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has updated the list of “red” and “green” zones as of November 28, 2020.
According to the press service of the State Agency for Tourism Development (DART), compared to the previous week, the United Kingdom, Spain, Slovakia, Belgium and the Netherlands have moved to the “green” zone.
Of the popular tourist countries, as a week ago, Albania, Egypt and Turkey remain in the “green” zone, while Bulgaria, Croatia and Montenegro are still “red”. Also “green” are the following tourist destinations: The Dominican Republic, the UAE, Tanzania, Mexico and the Maldives.
Countries into the “red” zone
As of November 27, the “red” zone included 38 countries (last week there were 44), including: Austria, Bulgaria, Armenia, Georgia, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, USA, Hungary, France, Croatia, Czech Republic, Montenegro, Switzerland, Sweden and others.
After returning from the countries of the “red” zone, Ukrainians must go to self-isolation using the application “Action at home”. Early termination of self-isolation is possible after receiving a negative PCR test.
To enter Ukraine, all foreigners need an insurance policy covering Covid-19 treatment. Persons arriving from the countries of the “red” zone are not subject to observation if they have a negative result of testing for COVID-19 by PCR, which was conducted no more than 48 hours before crossing the border of Ukraine.
Countries into the “green” zone
As of November 27, Ukraine and 155 other countries (compared to 149 weeks earlier) were included in the “green” zone, including: Australia, Azerbaijan, Albania, Belgium, Belarus, Brazil, Great Britain, Greece, Denmark, Estonia, Egypt, Israel, India, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Kazakhstan, Canada, Kenya, Cyprus, China, Colombia, Cuba, Netherlands, Latvia, Lebanon, Maldives, Malta, Morocco, Mexico, Moldova, Nepal, Germany, New Zealand, Norway, UAE , Paraguay, Peru, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Finland, Sri Lanka, Japan and others.
You do not need to take a coronavirus test or go for self-isolation when you return from these countries.
At the same time, it should be understood that the classification of a country as a “green” zone does not mean that Ukrainian tourists can now easily get there. Most of these countries still have quarantine restrictions, including bans on foreign tourists. The rules of entry into each country can be found on the website.
