In response to the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, Iran decided to enrich uranium at 20%.
The Iranian parliament voted by majority to cancel the sanctions bill, raise the level of uranium enrichment and redesign the old “Arak” heavy water reactor.
The parliamentary meeting was attended by 232 deputies out of 246, and they voted in favor of the resolution.
While the former director of the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), John Brennan, described the assassination of the Iranian scientist, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, as a “criminal act,” considering what happened “a flagrant violation of international law.”
Meanwhile, the spokesman for the National Security Committee in the Iranian Parliament, AbulFadl Amoui, announced that the preliminary investigations indicate Israeli involvement in the assassination of the nuclear scientist Fakhri Zadeh.
Western reports have described Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, head of the Research and Technology Center at the Iranian Defense Ministry, as the mastermind of a covert nuclear bomb program.
