Ukraine Gate – Kiev – February 28, 2022- Japan has allocated another $100 million to support Ukraine in its confrontation with the Russian Federation.. President Volodymyr Zelensky posted this on Twitter.
Zelensky held talks with Japanese Prime Minister Kishido Fumio and thanked him for its strong support for Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression.
The president thanked Japan for its support for tough sanctions against Russia.
The day before, Japan reportedly supported Western countries’ decision to block Russian banks from accessing the SWIFT system, and the country would impose sanctions on Russian President Vladimir Putin and provide Ukraine with $100 million in emergency humanitarian aid.
