President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed Yuri Gusev as CEO of the state concern Ukroboronprom.
The corresponding decree No. 532/2020 has been published on the website of the head of state.
“To appoint Gusev Yuri Veniaminovich as the general director of the State Concern Ukroboronprom,” reads the text of the decree No. 532/2020.
Yuri Gusev was the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine in 2014-2016.
Since July 2019, he headed the Kherson Regional State Administration. On December 2, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a draft presidential decree on the dismissal of Yuri Gusev from the post of head of the Kherson Regional State Administration.
Previously in early October, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed ex-Minister of Economy Aivaras Abromavicius from the post of general director of Ukroboronprom and appointed acting the general director of the state concern Igor Fomenko, who held the position of deputy general director for production at Ukroboronprom.
