According to data collected by Wednesday and published on Thursday, 957 people have been injured so far, but the UN agency believes that the real figures are “much higher”, especially in government-controlled areas.

“Receiving information from some places where intense fighting is going on is delayed, and many reports are still awaiting confirmation,” the statement said.
“This applies, for example, to the cities of Volnovakha, Mariupol, Izyum, where there are reports of hundreds of civilian casualties. These figures are further confirmed and are not included in the above statistics,” the statement said.
