Zelensky reminded that on March 24, three important summits for the security of the whole world will take place in Brussels – NATO, the European Union and the G7.
“I’m sure people will show how they support us. But politicians must also support freedom. All of them. They must support the struggle for life. We are waiting for serious steps. From NATO, the EU and the G7, he said.
In addition, the President said that the Ukrainian authorities are aware that the Russians have already begun to lobby their interests.
“These are the interests of war. We know that they are working with some partners. We know that they want to extinguish this issue. The topic of the fight against war. But we need to extinguish the war. These three summits will be our strong position. At these three summits we will see , who is a friend, who is a partner, and who sold and betrayed “, – Zelensky emphasized.
He stressed that “freedom must be armed”, so NATO assistance to Ukraine must be effective and without restrictions, including weapons needed by the Armed Forces.
“We have asked the Alliance to declare that it will fully help Ukraine win this war, clear our territory of invaders and restore peace in Ukraine,” he said.
Zelensky also added that the Ukrainian sky has not been made safe from Russian missiles and air bombs.
“We never received planes or modern anti-missile weapons. We did not receive tanks, anti-ship weapons. Russian troops can still kill thousands of our people, destroy our cities. Simply because there are so many occupiers. Simply because Russia has been preparing for this disgraceful war for decades, ”the president said.
He also called on the people of the free world to prevent Russia from “breaking” someone in NATO, the EU or the G7 and “dragging them to the side of war.”
“We’ll see you on March 24,” Zelensky said.
