The second stage of the Biathlon World Cup ended with a women’s pursuit race involving three Ukrainian women.
Daria Blashko was the best among the Ukrainians with the result – 12th position with one miss. Olena Pidhrushna with 4 mistakes is only 41st. Instead, Valentyna Semerenko made 9 misses and did not finish.
The gold medal of the race went to Norwegian Tyril Eckhoff. Her second compatriot Royseland finished next, and the top three was closed by the Swede Hannah Eberg.
“Honestly, the result was very difficult, because yesterday in the relay was full to the brim … Because of this, today the first three rounds were especially difficult and” stretched “everything went, but it turned out a good result – it’s good,” – said Blashko.
