A third of those who have left home plan to return in the near future, a quarter – will wait a little longer. About 40% are ready to return, but only after the war.
In addition, since August 2021, the number of respondents who identify themselves as citizens of Ukraine (from 75 to 98%) and as “Europeans” has significantly increased – from 27 to 57%. On the other hand, fewer and fewer respondents describe themselves as “Soviet people”, their number has decreased from 21 to 7%. There is also an absolutely high level of local patriotism.
Today, civic self-awareness dominates in all age and regional groups. As for pro-European self-identification, there are almost no differences in age groups. At the same time, there are some differences in macro-regions: , – indicated in the survey.
