The drama series “And there will be people” was filmed based on the novel of the same name by Anatoly Dimarov, created by the Film.UA studio with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, the project manager was Arkady Nepitaliuk, the multi-part film consists of 12 episodes, each of which Dedicated to a separate character, there will be people built in the form of an epic and from the perspective of the lives of ordinary people shows the turbulent stages of the twentieth century: the First World War, the revolution, the emergence of Soviet power.
“Cyborg” (2017)
Military drama “Cyborg” directed by Setaplay Seals reflects the defense of the Donetsk airport during the war in the Donbass, in the film there are several main characters at once – this is a small unit that defends itself in the new terminal of Donetsk Airport in the fall of 2014.
“Cyborg” is the absolute record holder in domestic distribution for the entire period of Ukraine’s independence. In the first weekend, the film collected more than 8 million UAH. This is a record for the first weekend among Ukrainian films. After 8 weeks of rental, the box office Tickets for the film amounted to 22.3 million UAH, the tape ran for 21 weeks at the Ukrainian box office and brought in 23.2 million UAH.
“Donbass” (2018)
“Donbass” – a film directed by Serhiy Loznitsa, consisting of episodes about the facts in the occupied territories of eastern Ukraine. In August 2018, Ukraine submitted the film “Donbass” for an Oscar nomination in the category “Best Foreign Language Film”. “Home” (2019)
