Top United States officials have announced $ 713 million in foreign military funding. About $ 322 million will be sent to Kyiv, with the rest divided between NATO members and other countries that have supplied Ukraine with military supplies since the start of the war with Russia, officials said.
This funding differs from previous US military aid in that it is not a donation from the Defense Ministry’s stockpile, but cash that countries can use to purchase the necessary weapons.
In addition, the United States approved the sale of ammunition worth $ 165 million. Officials said it increased the total amount of US military aid to Ukraine to $ 3.7 billion since the full-scale invasion.
