Ukraine Gate- Kyiv – April 26, 2022- The British government issued a statement containing a new set of measures to support Ukraine, as it eliminated all customs duties covered by the trade agreement between Britain and Ukraine.
Also, all tariffs on goods imported from Ukraine will now be reduced to zero, and all quotas will be removed in accordance with the Free Trade Agreement, which will provide economic support to Ukraine in difficult times.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson promised to reduce tariffs to support the Ukrainian economy during his visit to Kyiv.
The abolition of tariffs on key Ukrainian exports, including barley, honey, canned tomatoes and poultry, will help Ukrainian companies and producers.
Britain also announced a ban on the export of products and technologies that Russia could use to suppress the heroic people of Ukraine.
Ukraine signed an agreement on political cooperation, free trade and partnership with Great Britain.
