Ukraine Gate- Kyiv –May 7, 2022- Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko hopes that calm will prevail in Kyiv on May 8 and 9, as he expects a calm sky without bombing, but the aggressor’s provocations cannot be ruled out, and Klitschko said that changing the curfew (from 22:00 to 5:00) on 8 -9 May Martial law is prohibited, as required, and there will be no emergencies.
He added, “Despite the abundance of information, let us hope that these two days will be calm.”
Klitschko again urged the people of Kyiv not to return to the capital at the present time, because the target of the aggressor was and remains the capital, since there are still a large number of mines in the suburbs, and in forest parks, and we cannot guarantee security yet, but after 8-9 May security will gradually return to the capital.
The curfew will continue from 22:00 to 5:00 in the Kyiv region from May 8 to 15.
