US President Joe Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida expressed solidarity with the Ukrainian people and condemned Russia’s atrocities in Ukraine.

The Prime Minister of Japan and the President of the United States stressed the importance of the unity of the international community and expressed solidarity with the Ukrainian people in response to Russia’s aggression with sanctions, including financial sanctions, export controls and other steps taken by like-minded countries to endure long-term economic losses.

Thus, Russia was expelled from the UN Human Rights Council due to its aggression against Ukraine.
