So, exactly three months after the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the subway was reopened in Kharkiv. The subway for passengers will be open from 7:00 to 19:00.
Electric trains will run on all three subway lines again and stations will resume reception. Exceptions will be the section from the station “Academician Pavlov” to the station “Heroes of Labor” Saltivskaya line, which will not carry passengers, and the station “Derzhprom” Oleksiyivska line, which will operate only as a interchange.
The movement interval will be 30 minutes. According to the Kharkiv City Council, the interval of electric trains in the Kharkiv metro will be gradually reduced.
The first days after the launch of the subway will be free.
Citizens will also be able to continue to use the stations as a temporary shelter during air raids.
