The First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska stated in an interview with ABC News that Ukraine will not give up its territories to Russia, because it would mean the same as giving up freedom .

“Ukrainians cannot normally accept such statements from the leaders of the great countries of the world because we are not ready to give up our territories … It’s like giving up freedom,” Zelenskaya said.

During the interview, the First Lady reiterated President Volodymyr Zelensky’s position that Donbas, where Russia’s offensive is now concentrated, will become Ukrainian again. She stated that the aggressor country would not stop if Ukraine ceded its territories.
“He (the aggressor – ed.) Would continue to press, he would continue to take new and new steps forward, more and more attacks on our territory,” she added.
