The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov publicly thanked US President Joe Biden and the US military for including HIMARS missile systems in the next package of security assistance to Ukraine .

In a statement Wednesday, Biden officially announced the inclusion of US-made high-mobility artillery missile systems (HIMARS) in Ukraine’s military aid package.
The systems will have a range of about 70 kilometers, a Pentagon spokesman told reporters on Wednesday, more than anything sent to Ukraine to date.
