During the 100 days of large-scale Russian war against Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated 1,017 towns and villages from the invaders. This was announced by Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko during a briefing .

According to him, in the deoccupied territories of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy and Zhytomyr regions the first works on the restoration of residential buildings and social infrastructure have already begun.
“As of today, 1,194 facilities have been completely restored. Transport services in the liberated cities are gradually being restored. Road services have been opened in more than 700 settlements. Medical facilities operate in 26% of the occupied territories, and grocery stores have resumed operations in more than 600 settlements. at almost 300 “, – the official noted.
Tymoshenko also stressed that Ukraine receives humanitarian goods every day, more than 126,000 tons of humanitarian aid were imported in May alone.
