According to Rai News, politicians are on their way to Kyiv.
“Leaders of the three largest EU countries – Germany, France and Italy – are expected in Kyiv this morning,” the newspaper writes.
“For me today was the third night in a row. And not only did I spend tonight on the train. Iron diplomacy works,” Ukrzaliznytsia Chairman Oleksandr Kamyshin told Telegram.
Addition
The day before, the FT wrote that the leaders of France, Germany and Italy were planning a joint trip to Ukraine on Thursday to show support for the country, which is resisting the Russian invasion, and to discuss its application for EU membership.
The visit will take place ahead of the European Commission’s assessment of Ukraine’s EU candidate status, a decision the bloc’s leaders will discuss at a summit in Brussels next week.
