There are many ways to cook this dish, but we will tell you how to make it especially fragrant.
There is no simpler and tastier dish than fried potatoes. The dish, of course, is not the most useful, but sometimes you can cook it. Fried potatoes are great as a side dish to meat or salad.
Ingredients:
potato
garlic
salt
a mixture of peppers
olive oil
butter
Preparation:
Step 1
Wash the potatoes in the amount you want to fry. Peel and cut into large slices. Each piece should be about 2 cm wide.
Step 2
Rinse the potatoes and place on a paper towel to drain the water. You can also wet a towel on top.
Step 3
Heat a frying pan. Pour a small amount of olive oil on it, about 2 tablespoons. Now, to give the potatoes a pleasant aroma, cut a small piece (about 30 g) from the butter and place on a pan with olive oil. The burning temperature of these oils is different, but if you mix them – you get a pleasant taste and aroma.
Step 4
Take 2 heads of garlic and crush with a knife, remove the peel and send to the oil in a pan. Reduce the temperature on the stove to a minimum and let the garlic give off its oil aromas.
Step 5
Transfer the potatoes from the towel to a separate bowl and add the spices. It can be salt and a mixture of ground peppers, but you can also add other, such as Italian herbs.
Step 6
Remove the garlic from the pan – it has given off all the flavors and is no longer needed. Now transfer your potatoes to the pan. Fry over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes, and when the potatoes are browned, switch the mode on the stove to a minimum and fry for another 10 minutes.
