Ukraine Gate – Kyiv – June 27, 2022- More than 100 bodies were found under the rubble as a result of the Russian bombing of a building in the temporarily occupied city of Mariupol, Petro Andryushenko, advisor to the Mayor of Mariupol, said.
The Russian aggression also caused one of the biggest humanitarian disasters in Mariupol, where more than 95% of all buildings in the city, including 1,356 high-rises, were destroyed by Russian bombing.
Mariupol Mayor Vadim Boychenko said about 22,000 civilians have been killed in the city since the beginning of the Russian invasion, and about 100,000 people remain in the temporarily occupied city.
