“Since February 24, the UN and humanitarian partners have provided assistance to more than 9 million people in each region of Ukraine. More than 2 million have received financial assistance,” the speaker said.

She also noted that more than 400 organizations provide humanitarian assistance to Ukrainians, including 200 Ukrainian NGOs.
“Ukrainians are the first rescuers, and they help each other a lot. I want to thank the private sector, local and non-governmental organizations that helped us in our work, ”added Lubrani.

The UN humanitarian coordinator in Ukraine said that almost 16 million Ukrainians today need humanitarian assistance, more than 5.3 million have become refugees in other countries.
