In particular, Canada imposed sanctions against the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill, the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Maria Zakharova, the deputy head of Roskomnadzor, Milosh Wagner, the director of RT broadcasting, Anton Krasovsky, and the TV presenter of the “Russia-1” channel, Olga Skabeeva.
They were included in a list of individuals identified as Russian disinformation agents responsible for facilitating and supporting Russia’s unprovoked and unjustified invasion of Ukraine.
Canada also banned the import of gold from Russia.

Earlier it was reported that the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill, is among the persons whom the EU plans to include in the sixth package of sanctions against the Russian Federation.
