In Edmonton at the stadium “Rogers Place” in the opening match of the World Cup 2021, the national team of Slovakia defeated the team of Slovakia.
The only puck was thrown at the end of the third period, in the 55th minute. The goal was scored by the striker of the Slovak national team Roman Feit. He was assisted by forward Michal Mrazik and defender Shimon Nemets – 1: 0.
The youth national teams of Finland, Germany and Canada will also play in Group A. In group B – the Czech Republic, Sweden, USA, Russia and Austria.
From each group to the 1/4 finals 4 best teams will leave. The tournament will last until January 5, 2021.
