According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, a total of 5,023,710 cases of covid have been recorded in Ukraine.
Of these, 2,098 cases were recorded in the current reporting week, while 1,431 cases were recorded a week earlier. So, an increase of 46.6% was recorded for the week.
At the same time, during the week from July 18 to 24, 488 vaccinated persons fell ill with covid in Ukraine, compared to 300 a week earlier (+62.7%).
The most cases per week were recorded in Kyiv region (247), Kyiv (245), Odesa (220), Zakarpattia (173), and Chernivtsi (158) regions.
Hospitalizations for a week in Ukraine increased by 17.6% – to 1,221.
Recovered from COVID-19 in a week – 1,485 (+52.8%). A total of 4,911,788 people recovered.
Fatalities for the week increased by 55.6% – 14 people died, while a week earlier there were 9. In total, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 108,713 people have died from covid in Ukraine since the beginning of the pandemic.
