“Russia’s brazen attack on the port city of Odesa only 24 hours after the signing of this agreement certainly undermines confidence in Russia’s obligations to the other parties to this agreement – the UN, Turkey and Ukraine. Despite these (missile – ed.) strikes, we understand that the parties continue preparations for unblocking the Black Sea ports of Ukraine for the export of food and fertilizers,” he noted.

According to him, this undermines confidence in the wider humanitarian obligations of the Russian Federation, which it has undertaken.
Price said that Moscow thus continues to deliberately prevent the delivery of much-needed food to many of the world’s poorest countries.
He added that the US “continues to expect that the Black Sea Agreement will be implemented.”
Price emphasized that Washington will work with partners around the world “to ensure responsible implementation of the agreement reached by Moscow.”
This happened less than 24 hours after Russia signed an agreement with the UN and Turkey on unblocking the export of Ukrainian grain by sea. Ukraine signed a similar agreement separately from the Russian Federation with the UN and Turkey. It was about unblocking three ports for export – “Odesa”, “Chornomorsk” and “Pivdenny”.
The hostile missile attack on the port of Odesa has already provoked the reaction of both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and foreign diplomats, in particular, the USA and the EU .
