Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, called the horror stories about the “cold winter” and gas blackmail from Russia nonsense.

“September has just begun, and Europe’s gas storages are almost full. Once again it turned out that the Russian horror stories about the “cold winter” are a hoax. And so is the plan to blackmail Europe with gas and force it to surrender. It’s still going according to plan, right? Apparently, the plan is : a free Ukraine and an energy-independent European Union,” wrote Podolyak.
