Over the past year, Ukraine has increased soybean imports and sold much less abroad.
During the 11 months of 2020, Ukraine managed to export 1.58 million tons of soybeans, and the profit amounted to 574.45 million dollars. This is 44% less than last year.
The list of the largest importers of Ukrainian soybeans looks like this:
Turkey – 176.4 million dollars (-48.5%);
Belarus – 114.96 million dollars (-3.5%);
Greece – $ 39.53 million (-3%);
The Netherlands – $ 38.45 million;
Egypt – 32.3 million dollars (-76%).
And soybean imports increased by as much as 246%. In January-November 2019, imports amounted to 2.94 million dollars, and in 2020 exceeded the mark of 10 million dollars.
