Experts of the Center for countering disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine have collected a selection of fakes that Russian propagandists have spread in the previous days .

1. The spokesman of the President of the Russian Federation stated during the speech at the briefing that only the leadership of Ukraine can provide security guarantees to its country: “only the leadership of Ukraine, which understands the hopelessness of the situation for it, can provide security guarantees to Ukraine.” This is manipulation!
2. The Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to international organizations in Vienna stated: “Western countries have drawn up an anti-Russian IAEA resolution on the Ukrainian issue, in which there is not a single word about the systematic shelling of the Zaporizhia NPP. The reason is simple: shelling is carried out by Ukraine, which Western countries support and fence off in every possible way.” This is manipulation!
3. The spokeswoman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation stated: “Concerns are caused by reports of filtering measures… in the territories from which the Russian Armed Forces were withdrawn as part of the regrouping. Thousands of people pass through them. It’s scary to imagine what the Armed Forces are doing with them. First of all, it is about the murders of these people.” This is misinformation!
