Experts of the Center for countering disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine have collected a selection of statements and disinformation broadcasts spread by Russian propaganda during the previous day .

1. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Lavrov stated: “Washington is not interested in establishing peace in Ukraine. This became clear when Moscow and Kyiv came to an agreement, which frightened the Americans and the British, and they forbade Ukraine to conduct a dialogue with the Russian Federation. Since then, Ukraine has been avoiding negotiations.” This is misinformation!
2. The State Duma of the Russian Federation appealed to the UN General Assembly, the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the European Parliament and national parliaments regarding the threat to peace in Europe emanating from Ukraine: “the Kyiv regime, which pushes the USA and NATO, is escalating military operations, bringing the situation to the brink of a large-scale bloody confrontation.” . This is misinformation!
3. President of the Russian Federation V.Putin stated that “Russians fight bravely side by side, like brothers, for the sake of saving the people of Donbas, for the sake of a peaceful sky for our children and grandchildren, for the sake of our native country, which will always be only free and independent”.
