President Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to organize the provision of humanitarian assistance to Croatia, which suffered from the earthquake.
By his decree No. 1/2021 of December 4, the head of state ordered the provision of humanitarian aid to the Republic of Croatia and entrusted the government with all organizational issues related to this.
An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 hit the center of Croatia on December 29. At least seven people died, dozens were injured. The tremors were felt in the country’s capital Zagreb, as well as in neighboring Bosnia, Serbia and Italy.
The building of the Ukrainian embassy in Zagreb received minor damage.
