The Verkhovna Rada registered a bill on deferral from conscription during mobilization for pedagogical workers working in preschool and out-of-school education institutions .

Thus, the draft law No8117 was registered by the Verkhovna Rada on October 7, on October 10 it was sent to the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, on October 11 – provided for review, the document says in the card.
According to the explanatory note, the draft law proposes to extend the right to defer conscription during mobilization to teachers working in preschool and out-of-school education institutions.
According to the Law of Ukraine “On Mobilization Training and Mobilization”, currently, scientific, scientific-pedagogical and pedagogical workers are not subject to conscription for military service during mobilization, provided that they work in scientific institutions and organizations, institutions of higher, professional pre-higher, professional (vocational-technical) or general secondary education at the main place of work at least 0.75 rates.

In early October, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy canceled the autumn conscription for military service and postponed autumn demobilization.
