The Russian occupiers shelled Orikhiv in the Zaporizhia region for several hours, oleksandr Starukh, the head of the Zaporizhia OVA, said on Telegram on Thursday, October 13, noting that there were dead and more than ten wounded .

“Once again, the city of Orikhiv becomes the target of the enemy. With massive shelling for many hours on a small peaceful town, the occupier destroyed residential buildings along the main street and in a sleeping neighborhood. The enemy took the life of a resident of the village of Preobrazhenka, which is nearby,” Starukh said.

The head of the OVA said that he also reported 9 wounded from Orikhov and 1 from Preobrazhenka, another 3 from Stepnogorsk.
“The next civilian infrastructure facilities and utilities, homes in which people have invested their whole lives have been destroyed,” he said.
“We will rebuild everything as soon as we knock the enemy out of our land, but the main thing is to save human life. Knowing the insidiousness of the enemy, please do not put yourself and your loved ones in danger – go to safe territories. We believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine! Victory will be ours!” said Starukh.
