“Yaroslav destroyed four cruise missiles of the occupiers with accurate shots from the Igla MANPADS. He is a soldier of the anti-aircraft missile brigade named after Hetman Pylyp Orlyk of the Air Command “South”, the message says.
As noted, this happened during the massive rocket attack on Ukraine on October 10 and 11.
“During the launch, there is always excitement and the main thing is the result, because an unbeaten cruise missile can cause trouble, a sense of responsibility helps to cope with anxiety and confidently, with a cold mind, to launch a rocket. He came out, caught the target, escorted, pressed the descent – the rocket came out. And quickly recharge MANPADS! I disconnected the trigger, connected it to the next “pipe” and continue to work on targets,” Yaroslav said.

On the morning of October 10, Russian occupation forces carried out a massive rocket attack on the territory of Ukraine, killing 19 people and injuring 105. Also, 205 objects were damaged, including 30 multi-storey buildings.
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny said that Russian troops fired 75 missiles at Ukraine, 41 shot down the air defense forces.
