“We have significantly increased the number of repair crews. Additional equipment for repairs was purchased, which is stored in safe places. Partner countries are constantly providing the necessary assistance,” he said.

It is noted that the United States has allocated $ 55 million for the repair and maintenance of gas pipes, as well as the provision of electric generators, alternative sources of fuel for social infrastructure.
Another 70 million euros are provided for by the Netherlands. At the same time, Denmark helps with the heating season in the Mykolaiv region.
“We have preliminary agreements with Norway and the United Kingdom on gas supplies, especially in case of critical need in winter. The EU and Canada are also connecting to aid. Distribution system operators from Belgium, Poland, Germany, Italy and other countries transfer generators, transformer equipment, wires, insulators for power lines and much more equipment to our Ukrenergo. They are being transferred not only now, but also all these months, thanks to which we can quickly resume electricity supplies,” he added.
The Prime Minister explained that restrictions and power outages are possible, especially in regions with traditionally high consumption and in those affected by rocket attacks – in the central regions, northeastern and western.
But almost all territories controlled by Ukraine are provided with electricity. Currently, 99% of settlements where there is no electricity on a permanent basis are either occupied territories or settlements in close proximity to the war zone, and there are no opportunities to make repairs.
“At the same time, it is important to continue to consume electricity economically in the morning and evening to prevent outages. This applies not only to the population, but also to business. Yesterday, Ukrainians in the evening hours reduced consumption by 5.4% compared to the previous day. This is our response to the enemy and so we need to continue! It is especially worth noting Chernivtsi, Khmelnytsky, Poltava and Sumy regions, where there was the largest decrease in consumption,” the Prime Minister stated.
Supplement
Advisor to the Minister for Energy Oleksandr Kharchenko said that Ukraine does not need to import electricity from Europe at the moment. If Ukrainians effectively save electricity consumption, the state will be able to abandon forced outages.
