Currently, there are no signs of the creation of a powerful group to attack Ukraine in Belarus, but the threat remains. Vadym Skibitskyi, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, announced this on the air of the telethon .

“Today, we do not note the creation of a powerful offensive group there, which was deployed on the territory of Belarus during January-February. But at the same time, about 9,000 servicemen, the 1st Tank Army conducted appropriate combat training measures, combat coordination of units is taking place, and we clearly know that this process is controlled by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the command of the 1st Tank Army,” Skibitsky said.
According to him, there can be two options for the application of this division.
“Whether it’s from the territory of Belarus, or it’s a rotational return to the territory of Ukraine, perhaps to Kharkiv or other directions,” said the representative of the State Administration of Ukraine.
He noted that the threat remains.
“The threat still remains due to the fact that there are plans to use the grouping of the allied state of Belarus. The problem is that today there are not enough weapons that have been transported to the territory of Belarus. The Russian Federation is currently actively removing weapons from warehouses, arsenals, and mobilization deployment support centers , weapons, military equipment precisely in order to replenish the losses that the enemy suffered on our territory, and to equip those units and units that are created by mobilization,” said Skibitskyi.
He noted that the intelligence agencies expect an intensification of combat training in Belarus.
