In 2021, a budget program for the construction of service housing for young people will be launched in Ukraine, said the President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Academician Anatoly Zagorodny during an online briefing on Thursday, January 21.
“This year, a budget program for the construction of service housing for young people will be launched,” he said.
It is noted that such an initiative is necessary to provide apartments for talented youth. It has already been supported by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine and the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on budget issues.
“We plan to do this not only for the people of Kiev, but also for young scientists from Kharkiv, Lviv, Odesa, Dnipro,” noted Academician Zagorodny.
On December 28, 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the draft decree of the President of Ukraine on the payment of bonuses to the participants of the UPE who received complete general secondary education and the maximum number of points based on the test results. The draft document provides for 20 annual bonuses, which will be paid at a time. Each of them will amount to 5 thousand hryvnias.
Prizes will be awarded in accordance with the results of the UPE to the most successful participants who have scored 200 points in two or more academic subjects.
