Kiev. Ukraine. Ukraine Gate – January 30, 2021 – Agriculture
The new Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Roman Leshchenko called state support for irrigation development a priority for 2021.
“We will have several programs, including partial compensation for the cost of irrigation equipment. The Ministry should unite the efforts of farmers to solve the problem of lack of moisture. The state provides water supply, maintains the condition of canals and pumping stations and provides the possibility of connection, “the minister explained.
In addition, according to him, the introduction of the institute of agricultural insurance is a crucial task, as farmers continue to suffer from deteriorating climatic conditions, which leads to loss or death of crops.
Of course, on the agenda is the launch of free circulation of agricultural land from July 1, 2021.
According to Roman Leshchenko, from February 1, the geocadastre opens full data on land plots and everyone will be able to independently check the ownership of the land plot, when and for how much it was sold, who and when used the right to free privatization, etc.
However, the implementation of these plans currently looks somewhat problematic, as the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food is just beginning to take shape.
“Today there is an archivist, there is a cleaner who ensures the cleanliness of the premises and there is a minister of agar policy. In fact, this is still the entire staff of the newly created ministry, “Roman Leshchenko joked.
