Flights to and from Odessa are delayed at Boryspil International Airport, and a flight from Lviv has been canceled.
According to the information on the online scoreboard of Boryspil Airport, on February 8 the flight from Odessa, which was supposed to land at 8:00, is delayed for arrival, the approximate time of arrival is 11.30. Also, the flight to Odessa from Boryspil Airport, which was supposed to take place at 10:20, is delayed and is scheduled for 11 o’clock.
The flight from Sharm el-Sheikh, previously scheduled for 23:05 on February 8, and the estimated time of arrival – 00:55 on February 9, is also delayed for arrival at Boryspil Airport.
In addition, the flight from Lviv, which was supposed to be in Boryspil at 8.30, was canceled.
At another Igor Sikorsky airport in Kyiv, according to an online scoreboard, the flight to Berlin was delayed for 25 minutes in the morning and the flight from Zaporozhye was delayed by half an hour.
All other flights at the airports are on schedule.
Kyiv Airport also reports on Facebook that, despite the difficult weather conditions, the resort is operating normally. There are no restrictions for the reception of aircraft. The runway, airfield platforms, and the station area are being intensively cleaned by snow removal equipment.
On February 8 in Ukraine difficult weather conditions: in most areas snow, blizzards, in the western, northern and central regions heavy snow; in the south and in the Carpathian region snow with rain, accumulation of wet snow, ice, heavy rain in Transcarpathia in the afternoon; ice on the roads.
