Scientists have identified the most common problem in this lifestyle – diabetes. At the same time, the blood sugar level directly depends on how long a person has been sitting.
Sedentary work also causes great damage to our kidneys. So, if people sit at work no longer than three hours a day, in women by 30% and in men by 15%, possible kidney problems are reduced.
At the same time, American scientists have confirmed that being in a sitting position for more than six hours increases the likelihood of colon cancer by 36%.
A sedentary lifestyle also has an extremely negative effect on the health of the human cardiovascular system. Experts from Australia conducted a study and found that people who sat at work for less than four hours a day had a 50% lower risk of hypertension and cardiovascular disease.
Despite the fact that physical activity helps to burn excess fat in the human body, its amount in the heart area does not decrease. Therefore, to avoid obesity of the main muscle, it is necessary to sit less.
