Cod is a very tasty fish. Few people know that it can be used to make a delicious and quite exotic soup, the main thing is to follow the recipe exactly.
Kiev. Ukraine. Ukraine Gate – March 11, 2021 – Kitchen
Ingredients for 4 servings:
400 g of cod fillets without skin and bones
2 shallots
20 g of fresh ginger
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp. coriander seeds
0.5 tsp. turmeric
0.5 tsp. black pepper
0.5 tsp. salt
1 liter of fish broth
2 st. l. lemon juice
2 st. l. cane sugar
1/4 cabbage
100 g of asparagus
2 bulbs of medium size
fresh coriander (finely chop)
Finely chop the shallots, ginger and garlic and grind in a blender with coriander, turmeric, salt and pepper. Toss the mixture into the hot fish broth, adding lemon juice and cane sugar. Stew under the lid for about 20-30 minutes.
Cod cut into cubes, cabbage – straws, asparagus beans – large pieces, onions – thin rings. Add to the broth and simmer until fish and vegetables are fully cooked. Sprinkle the soup with fresh coriander on top.
