Aristovic noted that the Ukrainian negotiators in the TCG talks have asked the OSCE to hold an extraordinary meeting of the Security Sub-Group tomorrow and initial approval has been obtained and a response is expected from the Russians. “The president and his chief of office have held consultations with leaders of the Normandy countries regarding the flagrant violation of the shooting in the Donbas,” Aresovic said.
On March 26, in Donbas, as a result of shelling by the Russian occupying forces near Shumov, four members of the Ukrainian armed forces were killed and two others were wounded.
According to Aristovich, the Ukrainian side in the Joint Coordination Committee tried nine times to stop the bombing through the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, but the Russians ignored those requests.
