Today, March 28, 2021, in two constituencies – №87 (Ivano-Frankivsk region) and №50 (Donetsk region) will be held by-elections of people’s deputies. Polling stations opened at 8:00 and will be open until 20:00.

According to the CEC, constituency №50 includes 112 polling stations, and the estimated number of voters in the constituency is 147,902. The №87 constituency includes 117 polling stations with an estimated number of 146,980 voters.
It should be noted that in the constituency in the Donetsk region 18 candidates (10 nominees from parties and 8 self-nominees) will compete for a seat in the Verkhovna Rada, in Ivano-Frankivsk region – 14 (8 nominees from parties and 6 self-nominees). Among the candidates in the 87th constituency are strongman and actor Vasyl Virastyuk from the “Servant of the People”, and among the 50 – a pediatric surgeon who was involved in the murder of journalist Pavel Sheremet, Yulia Kuzmenko from the “EU”.
It will be recalled that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, citizens must be at polling stations in masks, adhere to social distance, and use their own pen.
