Specialists of the State Food and Consumer Services in the Cherkasy region. reminded farmers of the need to obtain permission to work with pesticides and agrochemicals.

Persons whose activities are related to the transportation, storage, use, and trade of pesticides and agrochemicals, as well as employees of enterprises, institutions, and organizations of all forms of ownership, natural persons-entrepreneurs who organize such work, must obtain a permit and certificate of passage special training on safe work with pesticides and agrochemicals.
The basis for the issuance of admission is a certificate of special training in safe work with pesticides and agrochemicals and a medical book with the conclusion of the medical commission on the absence of contraindications for health (according to the Cabinet of Ministers of September 18, 1995, № 746).
Employees of enterprises, institutions, and organizations of all forms of ownership and citizens are obliged to admit to work related to transportation, storage, use of plant protection products, their trade, only those persons who have undergone special training and have the appropriate certificate and admission issued by the Department of Phytosanitary Safety of the Main Department of the State Food and Consumer Service in Cherkasy region annually – specified in paragraph 2. Art. 18 of the Law of Ukraine “On Plant Protection”.
Persons whose activities are related to the performance of work with pesticides and agrochemicals must have a permit (certificate), a medical book, and an order to perform such work (in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers of September 18, 1995, № 746).
