On the occasion of the International Theater Day, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Finland Olga Dibrova congratulated the creative teams of the Ukrainian Theater in Finland and the newly established branch of the theater in Turku on their professional holiday, and presented honorary awards to the actors of the play “Zone”.

Igor Frey, artistic director and chief director of the Ukrainian Theater of Finland, director of the play “Zona” for the vivid embodiment of national traditions, popularization of Ukrainian theatrical art, and staging of the play “Zona”.
Natalia Shevchuk, a leading actress of the Ukrainian Theater of Finland, winner of the Grand Prix in the nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the VI International East-West Theater Festival in Krakow for her role as a woman, was awarded the highest award of the VO Kraina – the Medal for Service to Art. Prisci in the play “Zone”;
Gennady Naumov, actor of the Ukrainian Theater of Finland, winner of the Grand Prix in the nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the VI International Theater Festival “East-West” in Krakow for his role as Vovchyk in the play “Zone”.
For a significant personal contribution to the development and popularization of Ukrainian theatrical and song arts in Finland and a vivid embodiment of the roles in the play “Zone” – Thanks to the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Finland Olga Dibrova announced:
Denis Pertsev, for the role of Father;
Dmytro Sirotkin, for the role of the Precinct;
Olena Skorokhod, for the role of Slava;
Ally Chepil, for the role of a moth;
Natalia Boriychuk, for the role of a moth;
Oksana Mykhailuniv, for the role of a moth.
Ukrainians in Northern Macedonia had the opportunity to enjoy an excerpt from the play “Fireplace Master” broadcast live for them by actors of the Kyiv Academic Regional Music and Drama Theater named after Saksagansky on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of prominent Ukrainian writer Lesya Ukrainka.
