During Lent, it is very important to eat tasty and varied.

It will take you about 45 minutes to make this potato and olive salad.
Ingredients for 4 servings:
1 kg of potatoes
2 st. l. canned hot pepper
3 cloves of garlic
3 st. l. sherry vinegar
tsp. chili flakes¼
1/2 st. chopped green parsley
1/2 st. pitted olives
1 tsp. salt
optional: 5 tbsp. l. olive oil
Grind garlic in a mortar with a pinch of salt, transfer to a large bowl, and mix with vinegar and chili flakes. Alternatively, add and beat with olive oil.
Boil peeled potatoes in boiling water with whole tubers until soft. Drain the water, cut the tubers in half, add sliced chili, transfer to a wide and shallow plate. Pour the sauce over the potatoes and mix gently so that the tubers do not fall apart completely. Leave the salad for half an hour, then sprinkle with chopped olives and parsley. Serve the salad warm.
Subtleties: the perfect accompaniment to this dish – tea with mint or lemon balm for women, tea with snit for men, or tea with rose petals or cornflowers for children.
